Yuri Gavrilovich Kosarev was a Soviet and Russian mathematician and computing technology specialist, born on January 12, 1922, in Kaljazin and passing away on September 2, 2017, in Novosibirsk. A professor and Doctor of Technical Sciences, he was one of the founders of the mathematics institute at the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, contributing to the development of information technology. He created methodologies for solving complex computing tasks in various fields and participated in the design and production of the Minsk-222 computing system. He authored 'Introduction to Ontocosmism'.
