Ippei Suzuki (born January 6, 1951) is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Hokkaido. He dropped out of Takushoku University shortly after enrollment and graduated from Sapporo Tsukisamu High School. He formed the folk duo 'Rabi' in 1974 and debuted with the single 'Seishun Hi'. In 1979, he received a distinguished song award at the Yamaha Popular Song Contest. Suzuki is active in live performances and as a radio personality. He gained popularity with his hit 'Mizukagami', and his autobiographical book was published in 1983.
