Iraj Kalimi Mottahedeh, born on April 30, 1932, is a retired Anglican bishop who served extensively in the Diocese of Iran. He trained at the United Theological College and was ordained as a deacon in 1958 and a priest in 1960. Over the years, he held various positions, including vicar of churches in Shiraz and Tehran, and Archdeacon of Iran. Consecrated as assistant bishop in 1985, Mottahedeh became diocesan bishop in 1990 after the previous bishop's exile. He later served as President Bishop in the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East until his retirement in 2002.
