Irena Romih is a Slovenian painter born in 1965 in Celje. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1990 under professor Emerik Bernard. After her graduation, she worked as a designer at Steklarni Rogaška from 1990 to 1994, where she received several awards for her packaging designs for glass products. In 1994, she started postgraduate studies under the mentorship of professor Metka Krašovec. Currently, she works as an independent painter and illustrator in Ljubljana.
