Irma Nissinen (1910-2003) was a Finnish violinist and concertmaster known for her contributions to music education and performances. She studied at various prestigious music institutions including in Helsinki, London, Paris, Brussels, and Darmstadt. Nissinen served as concertmaster in several orchestras, notably the Helsinki Theatre Orchestra, and was active during wartime both as a performer and teacher. In 1961, she received the Pro Finlandia medal for her artistic achievements. Her legacy includes numerous performances and contributions to the Finnish music scene.
