During World War II, he served in the United States Navy and played in the fleet orchestra. He released his debut and only album, 'Murder Inc.', in 1960, referencing the organized crime group. His piece 'State’s Evidence' was used as the theme for the TVP1 program Sensacje XX wieku for many years.
