She is the daughter of former swimmer Fernando 'Chouka' Scherer and Vanessa Medeiros. Though she trained to follow her father's athletic career, she shifted her focus to the arts at a young age. At 14, she started studying acting and later launched a YouTube channel and a fashion and lifestyle blog. Eventually, Isabella opted to abandon her fashion studies to pursue acting full-time and launched her clothing brand, 'Cabeça', in 2018.
