Isami Nakagawa is a Japanese male manga artist born on July 8, 1962, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He made his debut in 1985 with 'Uwasa no Trouble Man' in 'I'm Champion'. Known for his nonsense and absurd humor, he has also worked on illustration and essays. His notable work, 'Kuma no Pūtaro', was adapted into a television anime. In 2013, he was diagnosed with cancer and opted for heavy ion radiation therapy, chronicling his experience in the manga 'Journey of Heavy Ions'.
