Isidre Solé i Solernou is a Catalan pianist born on January 3, 1931, in Jorba, Anoia. He studied music under Manuel Muñoz Espinalt and Fèlix Martínez Comín. In the 1960s, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where he worked as a music teacher and directed choirs. Solé i Solernou continued to perform and was involved with the Coral Mixta de Santa Maria d'Igualada, receiving accolades in 2013 and 2019. He has also composed around ten sardanas, traditional Catalan dances.
