István Kerékjártó is a former Hungarian long-distance runner born on June 13, 1953. He became the national champion in the 10,000 meters in 1977, 1978, and 1981. In 1985, he finished 29th in the IAAF World Cup Marathon. In 1986, he won the Hungarian Marathon Championship, claimed victory at the Munich Marathon, and came in 21st at the European Athletics Championships marathon in Stuttgart.
