István Nyers (also known as Stefano Nyers) was a Hungarian footballer born on May 25, 1924, and passed away on March 9, 2005. He played as a forward and left winger, and although he only made two international appearances for Hungary, he is regarded as one of the greatest legends of Hungarian football. He had a notable career in the 1940s and 1950s, with a significant tenure at Inter Milan, where he became one of the top scorers in Serie A history, notably scoring 26 goals in his first season.
