István Szávay is a Hungarian politician, political scientist, and history teacher born on March 8, 1981, in Kiskunhalas. He is a founding member of the Jobbik party and served as the head of its National Policy Cabinet. Szávay was a member of the Hungarian National Assembly from 2010 to 2018 and also held the position of vice president of the party from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, he served as the clerk of the National Assembly from 2016 to 2018. He practices Lutheranism and is married.
