Ivan Vasily Alexanyan (born January 12, 1924) is an Armenian expert in military and experimental medicine. He served as a doctor of medical sciences in 1986 and held the title of professor. Alexanyan participated in World War II on the Eastern Front, known in the Soviet Union as the 'Great Patriotic War'. His contributions to the field of medicine and his military service during the war are notable parts of his biography.
