Ivan Velkov is a Bulgarian entrepreneur, politician, and former actor. He appeared in the film 'To Love Defiantly' before moving to China, where he graduated in economics from Peking. After many years abroad, he returned to Bulgaria and continued his work as a consultant in real estate and foreign investments. In the 2015 local elections, he ran for mayor of Sofia representing the Greens and was elected as a municipal councilor, later becoming the deputy chair of the Sofia City Council.
