Ivelina Vassileva is a Bulgarian politician and expert in European policies and project management. She served as the Minister of Environment and Water in the second government of Boyko Borisov from 2014 to 2017. She also chaired the Permanent Commission on Environment and Water in the 44th National Assembly from April 19, 2017, to March 26, 2021. Previously, she was the Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Environment and Water during the Borisov 1 government and Deputy Mayor for Euro-integration and Ecology in Burgas Municipality from 2007 to 2009.
