Iver Grunnet is a former Danish handball player born on March 9, 1952, in Tiset. He represented Denmark at the 1980 Summer Olympics, where the team placed ninth, participating in three matches and scoring three goals. Grunnet played for Holte IF, winning a national championship bronze in the 1979-1980 season. He was also a member of Denmark's national handball team from 1976 to 1980, with 52 appearances and 58 goals. After retiring, he served as chairman of Slagelse DFH and worked for 36 years at Slagelse Gymnasium, the last 17 as principal.
