Ivona Galbrun (born Yvonne Laurent) was a Breton activist born in Paris on June 20, 1904, and died in Brelevenez (Lannion) on September 22, 1985. Known by the pen name 'Iona', she advocated for the Breton language and culture during World War I. Galbrun established a Celtic Circle in Bear and influenced many people including Taldir-Jaffrennou and Mari Manac'h. In 1946, she founded the magazine Me a Zalc'ho, which connected Celtic circles and worked closely in education at the Breton school in Ploueg-ar-Mor, dedicating her life to activism.
