Arbiter played a crucial role in promoting Ludwig drums, particularly after selling one to Ringo Starr of The Beatles. He later established Hayman drums in 1968, innovating with a unique coating technique. He also created Arbiter drums in 1975, known for being exceptionally loud and the later Arbiter Flats, designed to be the world's lightest and most compact drum set.
