She worked as an announcer under the name Izumi Tomita at Yamaguchi Asahi Broadcasting from April 2010 to January 2015. After leaving, she became a freelance announcer affiliated with Office Keyword. Additionally, she has worked as a baseball columnist since 2016 and a Pilates instructor since 2019. Having focused on her career in the Kansai area until 2020, she relocated to Tokyo in 2021 to pursue graduate studies in sports science, graduating in March 2023.
