J Capri, born Jordan Joel Phillips, was a Jamaican singer, DJ, and songwriter known for her hit song 'Whine & Kotch.' She was the daughter of notable DJ Mr. Murphy. Capri sustained serious injuries from a traffic accident on November 22, 2015, on Barbican Road in Kingston. Unfortunately, she passed away on December 4, 2015, at the young age of 23 after being hospitalized due to the accident.
