Joseph J. Maura, Jr. (June 16, 1949 – July 28, 2010), known as J. J. Maura, was an American television announcer and voiceover artist. He worked for twenty years as the main announcer at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia. Maura hailed from Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, and began his career across various regional stations, adopting multiple on-air names. He passed away from cancer at the age of 61, leaving behind his wife, four children, and twelve grandchildren.
