He is notable for winning multiple silver medals in prestigious shooting competitions, including the 2011 and 2014 IPSC Handgun World Shoots. Racaza graduated from Seton Hall University and works for the Department of Homeland Security. He is recognized as a double Grand Master in USPSA and is a member of Team Limcat. He also participated in the Top Shot competition, where he finished in third place.
