J.P. Kepka is a retired American short track speed skater born on March 6, 1984, in St. Louis. He began skating in 1989 and achieved early success in junior competitions, winning the junior title in 1998 and earning several top placements through the early 2000s. Kepka made his Olympic debut in 2002, competing in the 2002 Salt Lake City Games and the 2006 Turin Games, where he won a bronze medal in the relay. He also secured multiple national and international awards throughout his career.
