Jaafar Mohammed Saad was a Yemeni military officer and politician. He was appointed as the Governor of Aden on October 8, 2015, following his role as a military advisor to President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. Tragically, he was assassinated on December 6, 2015, in a suicide bombing involving a car explosion that targeted his convoy in western Aden. This attack resulted in his death along with several of his companions, and it was claimed by ISIS.
