Jaak Kõdar (July 7, 1940 – March 22, 2023) was an Estonian prose writer, playwright, and cultural organizer. During the Soviet era, he worked in a production cooperative and faced imprisonment due to political processes. In 2005, he established a performance venue at his family farm, where he also organized cultural festivals featuring his own plays. He authored around 30 books, including plays, poetry collections, and children's books in Estonian and the Mulgi dialect. He was a member of the Estonian Writers' Union since 2009 and joined the Estonian Centre Party in 1994.
