Jacob Reidar Brown, known as Jac Brun, was a Norwegian photographer born on February 26, 1921, in Drøbak. A long-time member of the Oslo Kameraklubb, he studied photography and obtained his certificate in Oslo. Brun worked at Mittet & Co. from 1953 to 1979, capturing many images across Norway that were later turned into postcards. He served as the chairman of Norges Fotografforbund from 1962 to 1970 and became an honorary member. His contributions to Norwegian photography were recognized with a royal gold medal in 1994.
