Jac Linders (1933-2012) was a Dutch educator, speech therapist, and children's book author known for his extensive contributions to children's literature. He wrote over 130 books, including popular series like 'Honkie and Ponkie' and 'Luuk and Lonneke.' Linders began writing short stories in 1957 and published his first children's book in 1958. Also, he composed scripts for youth plays and was a long-time lyricist for Sesamstraat. In addition to his literary career, he managed the Venz fan club with his wife Liesbeth.
