Jack Eskew, born Jackson Whiteside Eskew Kenmore on June 29, 1940, was an American arranger and orchestrator renowned in Los Angeles. He studied music at USC and began his career as a trumpeter, notably with Harry James. Eskew directed music at Disneyland and supervised the music of iconic shows in the 60s and 70s. He collaborated with Oscar-winning composer Bill Conti in the 80s, orchestrating several popular films including The Karate Kid series and Rocky Balboa. He earned three Emmy nominations, winning in 1994 for music direction at the Academy Awards.
