Jack Milroy, MBE, born James Cruden on 28 December 1915, was a renowned Scottish comedian famed for his partnership with Rikki Fulton as Francie and Josie. They entertained audiences through television, theatres, and pantomimes from 1960 to 1996. A World War II veteran, he turned to comedy after the war, performing widely in Glasgow. Milroy received an MBE in 2000 for his contributions to entertainment. He passed away on 1 February 2001 at the age of 85, leaving behind his wife Mary, son Jim, and step-daughter Diane.
