Jack Morelli is an American comic book letterer and author, born on October 26, 1962. Also credited as John Morelli, he is known for designing comic book logos and is recognized for his lettering work which influenced a computer font used by John Byrne. In the 1980s, he was a staff letterer at Marvel, earned the nickname 'Squid,' contributed to editorial work, and created the character The Silencer. He later co-authored 'Heroes of the Negro Leagues' and won a Harvey Award for his lettering in 'Afterlife with Archie.'
