Jacob Polley is a British poet and novelist, born in 1975. He has published five poetry collections and gained recognition for his novel, 'Talk of the Town', which won the Somerset Maugham Award in 2009. His fourth poetry collection, 'Jackself', received the T.S. Eliot Prize in 2016. In addition to his literary work, Polley has collaborated on two short films and worked on multimedia poetry installations in the UK.
