Jacques Bonjawo is a Cameroonian scientist and author born on December 30, 1960, in Yaoundé. He served as a manager at Microsoft’s Internet service, MSN. Bonjawo gained international recognition when he attended the 2004 Davos summit with Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade. He is the first president of the African Virtual University and has advocated for telemedicine in Africa through Genesis Telecare. His book, "L'Afrique du XXIe siècle," published in 2005, is a bestseller. He is also an influential figure in selecting innovative technology projects at UNESCO.
