Jacques Rançon, known as the 'killer of the Perpignan train station', is a French serial killer and rapist, born on March 9, 1960. He has been linked to at least three murders committed in 1986, 1997, and 1998, alongside multiple sexual assaults and attempted murders. After several prison sentences, he was imprisoned again in 2014, eventually receiving life imprisonment with strict security periods. Rançon is notably one of the few criminals condemned multiple times to life imprisonment.
