Jafar us Sadiq Mufaddal Saifuddin is a prominent Muslim scholar from the Dawudi Bohras, holding the title of Dāʿī muṭlaq. He is the grandson of Mohammed Burhanuddin and the eldest son of Mufaddal Saifuddin. A noted author and scholar, he specializes in Islamic studies, Ismailism, and poetry. Jafar studied Arabic literature in Cairo and obtained a Master’s in Islamic Jurisprudence. He teaches at al Djamia tus Saifiyah and has published works on Fatimid architecture. In 2013, he earned a PhD for his research on Mu'ayyad fi d-Din al-Shirazi.
