Jahja Daniel Dharma, also known as Laksamana Muda TNI John Lie Tjeng Tjoan, was an Indonesian national hero from Manado, recognized for his contributions to the Indonesian Navy. He was named a national hero through Presidential Decree No. 58/TK/2009 on November 9, 2009. Rising to prominence, he served as the captain of the Indonesian warship, RI Rajawali, after initially serving as captain of the smuggling vessel, The Outlaw, where he gained notoriety as 'the great smuggler' according to BBC reports.
