Jamal Mirsadeghi, born on May 9, 1933, is an Iranian novelist and short story writer. He was born and raised in Tehran and earned a bachelor's degree in Persian language and literature from the University of Tehran. After graduating, he worked in teaching. Mirsadeghi published his short stories in the magazines 'Sokhan' and 'Negin.' He has written numerous short story collections and novels, many of which have been translated into languages such as Russian, English, and Arabic. He is also known for his critical studies focused on contemporary Persian literature.
