James Albert Borrego is an American basketball coach born on November 12, 1977. He is currently the associate head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. Borrego has a notable coaching history, having served as the head coach for the Charlotte Hornets. Additionally, he gained experience as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs, where he won two NBA championships under the legendary coach Gregg Popovich.
