James Edward "Pop" Pough was an American spree killer responsible for the deaths of thirteen individuals in two attacks in Jacksonville, Florida, in June 1990. He committed his first act on June 17 by shooting two people at random and wounding two teenagers, coupled with a robbery. The following day, Pough killed nine others and injured four at a car loan office. His actions at GMAC marked the deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman in Florida at the time.
