James Jay Jaccard is an American psychologist and social work researcher, born on September 13, 1949. He serves as a Professor Emeritus at NYU's Silver School of Social Work and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois in 1976. Jaccard contributed to the design of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health. In 2016, he was recognized by the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare and was ranked highly among social work scholars for his research productivity and impact.
