James L. Enyeart (born January 13, 1943) is an American photographer, scientist, and museum director. He served as the director of the George Eastman House from 1989 to 1995, and prior to that, he was the director of the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona from 1977 to 1989. Enyeart has received several awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Josef Sudek Medal. His photographs are held in various prestigious collections, including the George Eastman House and the Smithsonian American Museum of Art.
