Sir James Francis Perowne, KBE, born on July 29, 1947, is a former British naval officer who served in the Royal Navy. He held the position of Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic (DSACLANT) from 1998 to 2002, during which he was promoted to Admiral. Since 2014, he has taken on the role of Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle, contributing to both military leadership and historical preservation.
