James Rollins Eddy (1931–2023) was a notable American lawyer, politician, and judge from Florida. He served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1963 to 1968, becoming the first Republican elected post-Reconstruction. An Air Force veteran and civil trial attorney, he held multiple municipal and county legal roles over his 44-year career. Eddy was also known for his involvement in community theater and civil aviation. He passed away at 91 due to leukemia, with honors paid by state authorities.
