James Woods, known as 'Woodsy', is a British freestyle skier born on January 19, 1992. He learned skiing on dry slopes in Sheffield and dominated the British slopestyle championships, winning five consecutive titles from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, he earned his first X Games medal, placing third. His major achievements include a gold medal at the 2017 X Games in Aspen for his Triple Cork 1440 Octo-grab trick, as well as participating in the Winter Olympics in 2014, 2018, and 2022, with a best finish of fourth in 2018.
