Jamie Tarabay is an Australian journalist based in New York City. She holds a B.A. in Government and French from the University of Sydney and is fluent in French and Arabic. Tarabay worked as a foreign correspondent, living in Beirut during her childhood and reporting on the Middle East. She covered Iraq post-2003 and served as NPR News bureau chief in Baghdad from 2005 to 2007. Her notable work includes a book about her experiences in the Middle East and winning an award for her coverage of Iraq.
