Jan Olaf Aarum (1937-2020) was a Norwegian cartoonist known for his humorous cartoons signed as 'Jan' with a unique backward 'n'. He began drawing for Norwegian magazines in 1969, contributing to several publications. In 1973, he moved to Finnmark, where he worked as a social pedagogue and was involved in the Red Cross. Later, he moved to Gjøvik and worked as a technical drawer. His work is represented in comic galleries, notably with the drawing 'Kelnerkø' at the Comics Museum in Brandbu.
