Jan Bertil Åström, born on August 7, 1960, in Falun, is a Swedish singer and actor. He studied classical singing at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has fronted various bands, including Hot Soup. Åström has performed in musicals such as Les Miserables, Annie, Guys and Dolls, and Little Shop of Horrors, where he voiced a carnivorous plant. He also played significant roles like Samuel Nöjd in Kristina från Duvemåla and Lustigs Per in Skinnarspelet. In 2011, he portrayed Tevje in Fiddler on the Roof, and participated in the cabaret R.E.A.
