He served as the managing director of Scanvest Ring Data and Infomedica before becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Datapoint Corporation in Paris from 1991 to 1998. As a guitarist, he performed in various genres and collaborated with notable musicians, winning a national jazz competition in 1961. After living in Paris, he moved to the French Riviera, where he continued his musical career, producing important contributions to Norwegian jazz history.
