Jan Cornelis de Ridder was a Dutch politician associated with the ARP. Born on February 9, 1921, in Rhenen, he served in various governmental positions, notably as the head of finance and taxation in the municipality of Leidschendam. He became the mayor of Ameide and Tienhoven in September 1957 and later of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht in January 1966. Due to health issues, he resigned in January 1978 and passed away on October 26, 2004, at the age of 83.
