Jan de Beer was a Dutch journalist, lyricist, and singer known for his Dutch-language songs. He grew up in Zeist and lived in Driebergen from the late 1970s, often performing as a troubadour in Belgium. In addition to music, he also painted in his studio. From 1988 to 2014, he served as an editor for the Stichtse Courant and produced three LPs and one CD.
