He competed for LKS Wisła Istebna and achieved notable success in Polish championships, finishing third twice and second in the 15 km race in 1977. His Olympic appearance came at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, where he, alongside teammates Wiesław Gębala, Jan Staszel, and Władysław Podgórski, placed 13th in the relay event.
